Mid-Autumn Moon Festival Tarot

As I’ve previously shared, I have mixed heritage, part of which is Chinese. And this week it’s the Mid-Autumn Festival! So here is a Mid-Autumn Festival (also called Moon Festival) Tarot spread for you on this Full Moon in Pisces!

Mid-Autumn Festival

The legend of the woman who became the Moon Goddess, and the legend of the Jade Rabbit who is a companion of hers there, are both stories of self-sacrifice. If you’re not familiar with the stories, I encourage you to look up the story of Hou Yi (he was a masterful archer who saved the planet) and Chang’e (a beautiful, smart and quick-thinking woman), and separately the story of the Jade Rabbit.

Making choices that are aligned with our values doesn’t always need to be quite so serious as sacrifice. But there IS effort and intention needed, no matter what your dream or priority is.

And often, we need to let go of something that’s no longer serving us – even if it feels scary at first – in order to have the space to take hold of the blessing on the other side.

So here’s a spread I created for you

You know me – we’re inclusive around here! So it doesn’t matter what you background is and if you’ve never heard of the Mid-Autumn Festival before, you can use this spread!!! I just wanted to share some Mid-Autumn Festival cheer, because it’s a happy, bright celebration.
