Celebration Energy Boost Meditation
Meditation and spiritual practice aren’t just for when things are tough. You can absolutely capitalize energetically on positive experiences! So in the spirit of celebration, below I’ve created a Celebration Energy Boost Meditation for you!
This is a meditation to do when you’re feeling on top of the world about something amazing that you did, created or experienced.
1. Prepare
- Find a comfortable position where you can spend a few minutes, undisturbed, with your eyes closed.
- Take a few nice, easy breaths as you settle into your position.
2. Amplify
- Bring to mind the thing you’re celebrating/happy about.
- Make all the details really bright and vivid. Think of it as being on a huge movie screen in your mind’s eye!
- Spend a few moments of taking in all those details of this happy/celebratory experience.
3. Body wisdom
- Notice where in your body you’re feeling this experience. Just notice. It could be anywhere and feel like anything.
- If you’re not sure where you feel this experience, go with the first place in your body that pops into your mind and just go with it!
- If you’re still not entirely sure, your heart centre/chest is a good place to go with, but do check in with yourself first! You’ll be surprised that you often notice right away that you feel it somewhere!
4. Connect body wisdom with experience
- Go back to bringing to mind on that big movie screen your celebratory/happy experience, and allow a bright shiny ball of light to form in your body wherever you are feeling the great experience.
- As you continue to notice how amazing this experience is, allow the ball of light to get even bigger and brighter and shinier!
- Notice that as you breathe in, the ball of light gets brighter. And as you breathe out, you feel so grounded through your seated base (or feet, if you’re standing).
- Continue to breathe like this and marinate for a few minutes!
5. Gentle wrap-up
- When you’re ready to return, gently take in a couple deep breaths down into your pelvis, start to bring some gentle movement into your fingers, toes and spine, and when you’re ready, blink open your eyes.
- Have a powerful and magical day!
